After earning his MD degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Kapadia went on to complete a residency in Urology at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. At OHSU, he underwent extensive training in Urology from recognized leaders in the field. During his residency, Dr. Kapadia developed a strong passion for male fertility and sexual health. In particular, bringing joy to couples—both young and old—gave him incredible inspiration and love for this field.
Therefore, he went further to complete a fellowship in Male Fertility, Microsurgery, and Sexual Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. During both his residency and fellowship, he trained with exceptional leaders and pioneers of microsurgical vasectomy reversal and penile implant surgery.
Dr. Kapadia returned home to the Southeast and provides care in the Atlanta metropolitan area through Georgia Urology. He specializes in a large variety of Men’s Health issues, including male fertility, microsurgical vasectomy reversal, advanced sperm retrieval, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and complex penile implant and prosthetic surgeries. He also works closely with all female fertility specialists (IVF specialists) in the Atlanta area and provides comprehensive fertility care for couples.
Dr. Kapadia is a distinguished member of a small and closely-knit Reproductive Urology and Sexual Medicine community. He has published extensively in well-known medical journals and has also presented his research at both national and international meetings in male fertility and sexual medicine. During his fellowship, he received the prestigious “Arnold Belker Award” granted to one fellow each year in North America for their research efforts. He is an active member of the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction, the Society of Male Reproduction and Urology, as well as the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.
“In my spare time, I love spending time with my wife and our lovely families. We love traveling and learning about the people that we meet, their food, their culture, and what brings us all together. I’m an avid sports fan, and root for the Crimson Tide and the Atlanta Falcons. I also like to stay active with tennis, golf, and my new favorite activity – the Peloton bike.”
